yesterday, when the weather was surprisingly beautiful, we were outside. me, mostly hanging around with my telephoto lens, watching the kittens play, hide, and explore.

later, on the inside, i took some photos of the older cats as well, while they were waiting for food:

they had to wait a bit longer. first, we did some cooking: a vegetarian zürcher geschnetzeltes (based on dinki) with rösti. won’t be the last time we had that :)

comments.

yep, and somebody was not hanging around – the potatoes prove that ;-)

yes, someone was actually doing work. for example one of the kittens, carrying pieces of wood up the stairs ;-)

and don’t forget catching the mini-onion!

Beautiful – five cats and one dog? Or am I missing some? ;)

nicole wrote on september 27, 2012 at 20:26:

well… 7 cats & 1 dog. but one of the cats is missing on the pictures. and no – not all of them are ours (but a loooot)

kornel, maybe you thought there’s only one little red cat. but in fact, there are two of them :) one has a finer pattern than the other, and the head form is somewhat different. there are three little cats (two red and one tiger) and four grown-up cats (tiger, red, black, black-white). here‘s a photo of the black-white cat which was not around on sunday.

Hi Felix, yes, after nicole’s reply I soon realized my mistake that there is not only one cat on this photo. ;)

And seven cats are a lot. Since we had at most four cats at home (except when some pregnant newcomer gave birth to their kittens in our barn) I’m wondering if it is easier or even harder to get a new one accepted by the others.

Btw. you have two cats that look a lot like cats we once had (Tiger and Fox). :)
