i like it because… it has a catchy tune, very different from most other metal songs. and a very different style, namely it combines rap with metal. (well, now that nu metal “kiddie stuff” is widespread this is not exactly new, but this song clearly predates that.) this song made me want to hear more from clawfinger.

bitte bitte! ich kenn es noch nicht ganz so lange, es ist mir erst in der lan-party-zeit (so zwischen ’97 und ’00 vielleicht?) in mp3-form begegnet. aber es hat mich sofort eingefangen und nicht mehr losgelassen ;-)
Naja, ich glaub, ich kenne das auch nicht direkt seit 1993, sondern erst seit der neunten Klasse zwei Jahre später gleich mit dem zweiten Album zusammen – da tut sich also nicht viel :)
Und wenn du mit “made me want to hear more from clawfinger” sagst, dass du noch gar nicht alles kennst, dann tu das ruhig – ich finde, die haben einige nette Songs – wobei ich nicht weiß, wieviel Nostalgie das bei mir ist und Begeisterung für Songs wie “Do What I Say” oder “Biggest & The Best” ist mit Sicherheit etwas pubertätsbedingt gewesen… ;)
ich hab hier (also in meinem cd-regal, was leider nicht physikalisch hier ist) einmal “two sides” (so eine art single, mit u.a. two sides und biggest & the best) und “a whole lot of nothing” (mit u.a. simon says), das meine ich mit “mehr” :)
