while staying near to ivalo, the first night was really, really beautiful. some kind of fog, illuminated by the full moon, and aurorae dancing on the sky. just incredible.

musst einfach weit genug in den Norden fahren und etwas glück mit dem wetter haben – dichte wolkendecken sind dem polarlichtfreund sein grösster feind ;-) und es sollte auch nicht gerade sommer sein; bis ende märz und ab september ist es zumindest normalerweise nachts dunkel genug.
