clouds fucked up my plan to watch today’s lunar eclipse. so no pictures from me, just me being tired the whole day… :-(

some more photos from today:
the barbwire picture is actually a 1:1 excerpt from the image generated by the camera. and the ivy picture is a downsampled version of a 3616 × 6368 panorama made out of five photos.
floating:
not floating:
can’t decide which is of more beauty…
today, the sun was shining bright, even though it was really cold outside. i decided to do a small trip. here are some impressions, taken in another nature protection area nearby:
actually, i was able to catch a bird flying high up in the sky with my telephoto lens:
i’ve got another toy:
well, it’s more a tool than a toy, and it’ll become an integral component of my daily life… at least, for the next three months. here are some close-ups:
feathery and fragile fingers reaching out, fumbling for something which isn’t there, not anymore. a scenery emblazed by glaring light, soon being drowned by utter darkness. melancholy hovering like leaves in the chilly air, seizing me. exposing me.
well. today i did my first outdoor tests with my new toy. here are some of the results, which i like .
i took the following pictures in the nature protection area next to the place where i’m staying at the moment.
i like trees, as some of you probably already noticed :)
two views on the more beautiful part (which happens to be the part where mathematics and natural sciences are located) of the carl von ossietzky university oldenburg.
besides trees, i also like my new telephoto lens.
i took these photos on my train ride on the 23.12.2007, somewhere between switzerland and northern germany. unfortunately, it was neither white in zürich nor in northern germany…
